In short

This site only collects what we need to answer your booking request. No advertising, no trackers, no selling of data.

Data controller

Data is processed by the owner of Chalet Letou. To exercise your rights or ask a question, write to us through the request form.

Data collected

When you send a request, we receive:

  • your arrival and departure dates and the number of guests;
  • your name, your email address and, if you provide it, your phone number;
  • the message you choose to write to us.

Purpose and legal basis

This information is used only to answer your request, send you a quote and, where applicable, organise your stay. Processing is based on pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Recipients

Your information is passed only to the owner of the chalet. Emails are sent by our technical provider Resend, which acts as a processor and may host data outside the European Union, under contractual safeguards compliant with the GDPR.

Retention period

Requests that do not lead to a booking are deleted no later than three years after our last exchange. Information relating to a completed stay is kept as long as required by our accounting and legal obligations.

Your rights

You can access your data, have it corrected or erased, object to its processing or request its restriction. If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).

Cookies and third-party services

This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Your choice of season (winter or summer) is stored in your browser for the duration of your visit only. Fonts are hosted on our own servers.

The maps on the Activities and Book pages are drawn from Esri (satellite imagery), OpenFreeMap and Amazon Web Services (terrain) servers: to display them, your browser contacts these servers, which receive your IP address as with any web page.
